Gas sampling with ROV

When a gas leakage from the seabed is revealed, it is important to establish the source of the gas to understand the vessel and integrity of well barriers.

We have developed a gas sampling tool based on our extensive ROV experience. This efficient and low-cost solution is operated by ROV, therefore it can be conducted from both fixed and floating facilities.

The gas sampling system makes gas extraction easy and safe. When the ROV is on to the position, it will hover over the gas source and collect the gas. Then, the funnel is filled with gas, the ROV pilot activates the solenoid valve, and the gas will flow into the container vessel.
