Ambitions remain strong

A2X and Energnist have decided not to apply for Denmark’s current CCS funding round following a thorough assessment of the tender conditions, timeline, and available CO₂ storage capacity.

The CO₂ capture project in Esbjerg remains robust and commercially sound. The work carried out in close collaboration with strong local partners has confirmed the project’s long-term potential.

It is not a question of if — but when CO₂ capture will become a reality in Esbjerg.
