From prequalification to partnership: A2X moves forward with CO₂ infrastructure plans

Following the recent prequalification for national CCS funding, A2X has now taken another significant step forward.

Together with Energnist, DIN Forsyning, and Port Esbjerg, the partnership has signed a letter of intent to establish a new CO₂ infrastructure in Esbjerg.

The project includes a pipeline from Energnist’s waste-to-energy plant to the future CO₂ terminal at the port, as well as facilities for liquefaction and temporary storage.

This development is a key milestone in enabling safe and efficient CO₂ transport for future storage and export – and in supporting Denmark’s ambitious climate goals.
